What is CappingContests.com?

CappingContests.com offers several contests for you to play and to win select prizes. You also have the ability to create your own contest and let other people play.

One of the big features is the consensus pages. You can break down the consensus play by sport or break it down game by game.

How do I register?

Registration is easy, fast and free. All you need to do is choose a username and password and enter your email. Register Here    Registration is not required to view many areas of the site. However to play or create a contest you must be registered. To collect any prize you must have a valid email registered. You must be at least 18 years old to play in any contest.

How do I participate in a contest?

Any registered member can participate in any public contest created by CappingContests.com or by any user who has created a public contest. As a starting point, we suggest you start here at our all contests page. The first time you play in a contest, you will see the join link. After you make your first pick, you will then see create a pick. At any time you may click on the contest name and review the description of the contest. This will list all details of the contest, rules, prize (if any), minimum and maximum units or plays in the day.

What kind of contests can I participate in?

You may participate on any public contest. CappingContests.com has the ability to create many kinds of contests. Choose between ATS, totals or ATS and totals contests. You can also play the last man standing and Survivor "Beat the Streak" contests. Finally we also offer several custom created contests in all sports.

Who can create a contest?

Any registered member has the ability to create standard contests. Cick here to create a contest

Are all prizes guaranteed?

All contests created by CappingContests.com are fully 100% guaranteed. You will notice that each contest created by CappingContests.com will be marked in red and will have A1 listed as the commissioner. All contests created by other users can not be guaranteed by CappingContests.com. However CappingContests.com will monitor all other contests and view prizes and keep up whether prize has been delivered. Failure to come through on a promised prize will result in that user being suspended. CappingContests.com has the right to terminate any contest if it feels the prize is misleading in any way. CappingContests.com has the right to eliminate any contest and/or any user.

How does the consensus work?

The consensus area is updated instantly every time someone makes a pick. You can check the overall top consensus play, you can view it broken down to against the spread, money line and over/unders. You can also view each game individually to see where the money is going on a particular game. You can use this to your advantage, whether you believe in going with or against the consensus. The consensus remains up until games are scored the next morning. you can go back and see how the consensus did on any game.

What are the leaderboards?

The leaderboard area is sorted by net units. You may picks from the make picks area or in any contest. The leaderboard will show who is hot, overall, weekly, monthly or yesterday. Sort overall or by each sport. Click a name and see their contests and picks. Leaderboards are updated each morning at 6:00 CST.

Can I participate in the sports forum?

Yes, posting in the sports forums is highly recommended. You must register seperately for the Cappers Mall forums. Please note all posting rules when registering. There is strict rules about touting or displaying any type of advertising. There is also many great contests in the forum seperate from our site. Cappers Mall is highly regarded as the best handicapping sports posting forum available on the internet. We are working with Cappers Mall on adding a section of the forum just for CappingContests.com contests stuff. We will keep you informed.

Can you explain the contest types?

Each contest will be created with it's own rules and values. Here are the standard types of contests.

  • ATS & Totals: Contests can be created where members can compete in any sport against the spread (ATS) or over/unders (totals)
  • ATS only: Contests can be created where members can compete in any sport against the spread (ATS)
  • Totals only: Contests can be created where members can compete in any sport on over/unders only (totals)
  • Pick the winner: Contests can be created where members can compete in any sport without pointspreads. Great for office pools.
  • Parlays: Contests can be created where members can compete in any sport by playing parlays (ATS).
  • Teasers: Contests can be created where members can compete in any sport by playing teasers (ATS).

Winners Circle is where it will display winners of many contests.

What is Trend Data

Trend Data will show you all kinds of interesting figures on NFL and college football along with NBA and college basketball. Home Vs the Spread, on the road, fav, dogs, etc. It will give you a breakdown of a team or certain pointspread. This feature is coming very soon.
